Why should I host an adult sex toy party and why should I host one that Laska does or recommends. My answer is why not; they are lots of fun.

I have had more fun at an adult toy party then any other home party. I personally wished that I knew more about them before I went into the business because I wouldn’t have purchased so many expensive stupid sex toys.

I remember my first sex toy which I purchased in a store from some freaky looking male store clerk. Of course I did not get to touch the product or make sure it worked because when you purchase them in a store, it is a buyer beware situation. So the sex toy was okay but it was hard plastic not very comfortable and very expensive.

I had one client who was very broke and she decided to host a party, with the theme bring an appetizer and BYOB, and bring your own booze. Why should you spend hundreds of dollars on sex toys if you don’t really know if you need or want a sex toy? Therefore purchase something small or what I call beginner units. Beginner units are perfect because they are not the Cadillac version of a sex toy with all the attachments. Start small and cheap but you need to understand that purchasing an under $20.00 toy will last a month or so based on your frequency. I do not push high-end products unless that is really what you want.

Laskamaria is not affiliated with a national company. The majority of home party companies are owned by someone and they developed their adult home party business similar to an MLM situation. The representative of the big companies get the training, promotional materials etc and must purchase the products that the national company carries. The representative is paid a commission for the sales she does at the party. Therefore a percentage of the money 40-60% goes back into the national company. That is why their prices are so high, mark-up of 150-300% on wholesale. These representatives have to take the order and then send out the products at a later date. The majority of the products come from China and they pass through the ports of Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco or LA. I purchase from companies in these areas. National company purchase from these companies on the ports they store them in a warehouse somewhere in the mid US or in the East, which adds to the final price of the product, shipping. Therefore if you are interested in the national companies email me and I will give you their contacts, but I can get the exact same product from the manufacturer and sell it you a lot less.

Home Party Companies have very expensive prices. Laskamaria’s prices are not expensive; I sell nothing of the basic sex toy units over $100.00 Canadian at a home party. I do not have staff or representatives etc., or a pretty storefront so I pass the saving on to you the customer.

I have done my research and unless you want a specialty item you should not purchase any basic sex toy over $100.00. A specialty item is high-end, computer process, certain lengths and custom done items. People who attend sex toy parties want basic beginner items. I can sell you and order you high-end custom design products, i.e. high-end remote control panties, the love swing, whips, chains, etc but those are custom order pieces.

My chats and seminars, I have not done a party atmosphere-based sex toy party since I started. People who ask for me ask for the education and we chat about everything from diet, exercise, how to get the most out of your sex toys, where to purchase good porn for women, how to clean toys, Kegal exercises, men and prostate cancer, anal sex, oral sex, dating, single life, STD’s and basic communication to help add sparks to a relationship. I do not push sales on the night of the party, because many of the guests purchase from me at a later date or refer me to other clients or just become a huge fan of my site and business.

I am doing the party, yes to make money but the parties are part of my social life and I enjoy doing them. I have such a good time and meeting new people. I had one party that only 4 women showed up with the host for a total of 5 people, and we had the best time chatting. Only two people purchased but in the future all the women purchased or referred me to other people. That party was one of my favorites because it was quiet small and we chatted about sex, which was fun. I learnt more about sex and relationships from that party then any other party I have ever done. Therefore do not feel the pressure for sales and people, just try your best.
